Festival Quartier Danse along with the support of The Conseils des Arts et des lettres du Quebec invite you to participate in MOMentum, a new dance creation by MamaDances artistic director, Eryn Dace Trudell, for performance on August 25th 2018 at Lac-Aux-Castors, (Park Mont-Royal).
For mothers/fathers/caregivers and your babies of between 4 and 12 months (or those whom can still be carried in a baby carrier), MOMentum offers the chance to experience a unique creation and performance process with the MamaDances team.
The result will be a movement manifestation and meditation calling for peace and compassion, celebrating precious life.
Each of 3 groups of 10 parent-baby duos will meet, share, rehearse and create once a week beginning in June 2018. The creative process will be led by professional facilitators.
No dance or baby carrier experience is required! It will all be provided.
This will be an exquisitely unique and memorable artistic dance experience that you and your baby will cherish forever.
We are now looking for mother/father/caregiver and baby dyad volunteers!
Eligibility criteria
- Be the mother/father/caregiver of a 4 to 12 month old baby (or be able to dance with your baby in a carrier) on August 25th 2018 (August 26 in case of rain)
- Be available for 75% of the rehearsals
- Be available for the dress rehearsal during the week prior to performance date
- Be physically able to dance outside while carrying your baby
