Émilie Lapointe

As far as she can remember, Émilie Lapointe has always had an interest for arts. At the age of 3, her love story for dance began when she rented a book about ballerinas. In her teen years, she fell in love with circus and trained at the Montreal National Circus School. It is by continuing to touch several forms of arts that she pursues her studies. She graduated with a DEC in Arts and Literature, in 2006, presenting a multidisciplinary work combining theater and dance. In 2008, she began a DEC in dance at the Saint-Laurent CEGEP. With her diploma in hand and wishing to open her horizons in dance, she successfully applied to the Broadway Dance Center at the “International Student Visa Program”. She graduated from a one-year concentration in classical ballet with distinction of excellence.

Émilie has been teaching and working with children for more than 15 years. Her passion for teaching, her love of dance and children always pushes her to improve.Now mother of 2 children, she wishes to transmit her passion for art and dance to them. It is by following the courses parent-child and mother-baby that she meets Eryn. She is charmed by her approach, her research, her knowledge and her way of teaching.
