Deepening the parent-child bond, by facilitating groups of parent child and mother baby dyads, dancing together, for pleasure and well-being, and for the benefit of the development of the child, has been the focus of MamaDances since 2006.
MamaDances, founded in 2006 by dance artist Eryn Dace Trudell, is a catalyst and leader of group family dance activities and has been offering classes to Moms ( fathers/primary caregivers) and their babies ( 2-12 months ) for over 15 years and to parents with children ( ages 1-4 years) for 10 years. MamaDances has provided in-studio training to teachers since 2015. Now these programs are available to you online.
The goal of this training program is for you to begin to offer a similar type of activity in your community, or to compliment your current program. It is meant to serve you, your family and your community in building a world of inclusivity, affection, compassion, playfulness, spontaneity, creativity, sensitivity, and availability.

"When I enrolled myself in the MamaDances course, I didn’t completely know what to expect! After watching the first few videos, I immediately felt as though Eryn and I had shared passions and interests. I had no dance experience, other than enjoying dance. The videos, with all of the fascinating content, helped me to understand the background and helped to bring everything together for me. I felt able and capable to teach the course. The support from Eryn has been so useful and wonderful, so encouraging and motivating! I absolutely loved the course, and would highly recommend it! Thank you Eryn for the course, clearly a labour of love!"
