MamaDances cares about you and your family’s physical and mental health. We’re counting on your cooperation to help mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19, and to ensure everyone feels as safe and comfortable as possible.

Since MamaDances is a guest in each location. Those locations are a combination of closed public and private spaces. Our policy for each class is dictated by the policies of the location. You will find these details by clicking on «info» then «location» for each class. We presume that by booking with us, that you have read and accepted your chosen location Covid policy. MamaDances follows government guidelines and takes into consideration diverse concerns among our team and what we’ve heard from our collaborators and the broader dance community. We believe in agency over your own body, and collective care-taking. This requires conscientious conversation, and a culture of informed consent.

Measures Taken by MamaDances

– Advance reservations, and online payments (versus cash) and no drop-ins for workshops
– Disposable masks for sale
– Hand sanitizer available at all times in the studio

MASK.  Wearing a mask is mandatory in hallways and bathrooms areas. They are not required during high impact physical activity as long as a distance of one metre can be maintained between adult participants.

CAPACITY. Each location has a different capacity depending on the size.

Contact Tracing

MamaDances will contact all participants in case of an outbreak connected to our workshops.

General Instructions

If you plan to attend a MamaDances activity you are expected to:

– Stay home if you or someone you’ve been in contact with has symptoms (including “minor” symptoms) or tests positive for COVID-19.
– Disinfect your hands upon entering the space and before touching shared objects
– Wear a mask in hallways and bathrooms
– Maintain a distance of 1 metres from other adults.
– Please keep your personal belongings ( including phones and water bottles)  in designated spaces whereby any distractions will be avoided.

MamaDances is a shared space. We respect each others’ limits without judgment. Thank you for taking care of others and remaining attentive.
