Dear friends, family, colleagues and dance enthusiasts,

Every once in a while things happen...
This week I re-injured my back, resulting in complete incapacitation. I could not walk, let alone teach or look after my children. I have no family in Montreal and I live in a neighbourhood where the houses live self-sufficient, isolated lives and don't integrate very much. I seem to be the only one who knocks on doors asking for a cup of milk, or childminding when things don't line up as planned..
I began my calls  and was able to mobilize the rescue team of friends to help me with the domestic tasks:

Thank you soooo much Jacinthe Duscheneau, Kelli Hanrahan, Gilbert Guertin, Kinga Michalska and Delphine Marot!

I also quickly made arrangements to get professional treatment. Here, in Montreal we have access to the best. Richard Cyr is my chiropractor and he is amazing. He had me walking in two days. I had my second adjustment yesterday and in less than a week later I am  75% recovered. Surely we will be able to go forward with the video project as planned starting monday!

In the midst of it all, I received a mind shifting life consultation session with the extraordinary Marieka Bosch Larose.

Being laid up for a few days, reminded my why I started my Arbonne Consultation Business (preparing for impact), and I began again to reach out to people in my life network by phone. For a few, the conversations were long overdue.

 Human connection is abundantly healing.

Happy Spring

Eryn

Deadline for application is extended to April 29th. (Payment plans and limited subsidies are available)

Bringing MamaDances to your community requires a social entrepreneurial vision.

Eligibility is difficult to define. MamaDances may enhance your career as a dance professional, teacher or community animator. It may become a parallel career or a complement to your studio or center's programming. The defining factor of a good MamaDances teacher is a love for babies and children combined with an aptitude for movement, formal professional dance training or its equivalent in dance experience, or teaching experience. You must have a good sense of humor, a flair for spontaneity and the ability to follow or reroute a class plan. Experience as a parent is helpful but not required.

Those interested should send a letter of interest and curriculum vitae to [email protected] by Friday, April 29, 2016. There are only ten places available.

Teaching placements with MamaDances are a strong probability beginning fall 2016.

SRT is a dance practice for all those with an interest in engaging in the dynamic dialogue between imagination and movement. Guided poetic imagery, music and hands-on partner studies facilitate deep kinaesthetic experience. The practice stimulates the process of letting go of one’s tension and holding patterns releasing new possibilities in how we perceive and how we dance.

Eryn is one of three Certified Canadian teachers of this revolutionary approach to dance training which has significantly influenced contemporary dance as we understand it today.

Please contact (514) 393-3771 or at [email protected].
A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required to reserve your spot.
