Thank you for a fantastic fall! Our gathering this month was small but beautiful. Thank you to those who came, and those that danced!

This is a reminder just before the holidays that our early registration discount ends on Dec 25th. Gift certificates are available. Thank you for helping us, by recommending our classes and talking about us in your social media platforms and professional circles.

And finally...
Despite the enormous accomplishments of MamaDances over the last ten years, and the exciting projects underway today, I still struggle, like many, at Christmas to afford gifts for my family. I face this challenge with a weary but optimistic soul that the new year will bring plenty of surprises, full of abundance and knowledge and MamaDances will continue offering this extraordinary experience to you, your children and your communities. I am excited to share, learn and grow with you in the New Year.

MamaDances Winter Schedule

MamaDances Parent and Child and Mom and Baby Dance classes are a unique experience that will never happen again. Your baby or child is not getting any younger. Dance with them, with us, now. Register today, before its too late!

Special Event: Babywearing Workshop

Be prepared for your MamaDances class by learning about the ergodynamics of baby carrying. Anyone already registered for a Mom and Baby class may have a 10% discount. We STRONGLY encourage you to attend.

• Learn proper adjustments for when your baby is sleeping and you are active.
• Learn to carry your child on your back
• Discover and try different carriers
• Practice carrying techniques that are physiologically safe and comfortable for you and your child.

Registration and Information

Teachers Training Montreal May 30-June 10

We support your desire to bring MamaDances to your community and to further enhance your career as a dance professional and teacher. This can be a parallel career or can be added to other studio programming.

To be eligible, you must have formal professional dance training or its equivalent in dance experience, teaching experience and a love for babies and children. You must have a good sense of humour and ideally, but not absolutely, you are a mother or parent.

Those interested should send a letter of interest and curriculum vitae to [email protected] by March 31, 2016. There are only ten places available.

SRT is a dance practice for all those with an interest in engaging in the dynamic dialog between imagination and movement. Guided poetic imagery, music and hands-on partner studies facilitate deep kinaesthetic experience. The practice stimulates the process of letting go of one’s tension and holding patterns releasing new possibilities in how we perceive and how we dance.

Eryn is one of three Certified Canadian teachers of this revolutionary approach to dance training which has significantly influenced contemporary dance as we understand it today.
