This summer is going to be very busy for us and we need all the help we can get. If there is anyone out there who can help with marketing and promotion, fundraising, translation, sponsorship, childcare.... please be in touch.
MÔntmentum, is my new choreographic project being presented by Quartiers Danse and which, amazingly, marks a decade since I began. Now is a great time to make a generous contribution to the continuity of MamaDances.

MamaDances Gathering
A family event where participants from all the groups gather together to present the choreography from the classes, and where friends and relatives are invited to discover MamaDances.
This is a time to socialize, and share. There will be free space, music and various objects with which to play and explore.
When: June 11th, 2017 - 4pm to 5:30pm

Quartier Danse 2017 presents...
Môntmentum
maternity unites humanity. new choreography project
MamaDances will engage in a large scale artistic project with volunteer mom/dad and baby dyads in an creative process, culminating in a performance gathering, beheld by family, friends and the greater public at Lac aux Castors, Park Mont-Royal on September 10, 2017.
Rehearsals will begin August 18. Please contact us if you wish to be involved.
We need , volunteer mom/dad/gardien and baby dyad dancers, community organization partners, a project manager, a marketing and promotion coordinator, sponsors and fundraising!

Classes take place in a private artists studio at 'L'Ecole de Lorimier’, located in the Plateau.
Sunday afternoons. 1-4 pm for ages 7+ and 4-6 pm for ages 5+.
The curriculum includes lessons in drawing, painting, paper marbling, print making and sculpture! The kids learn how to make oil paint from natural color pigments and get involved in fun Art history and Greek mythology projects. Classes are custom tailored to suit each individual pupils interests and strengths
The fee is $200+tax for 4 classes. All art materials and snacks are included in this fee.

Creative workshops for mom and baby
|

|
Foehn Kids a young company from Montreal created by Anne-Sophie Gauclin, offers creative workshops for mom and baby. Participants are guided in decorating projects for their babies rooms. For example, they realise pennants or a Sock Monster, or a soft and colored necklace, perfect to wear with a young child !
All the projects are made with a variety of recycled fabrics. The participants will have fun and also take a positive step to the environment !
Everyone is welcome, even though they can’t sew. Participants are guided step by step and materials are supplied. The activity takes place in small groups, with personalized advices and friendly atmosphere with breaks for babies.
You can join the creative workshop in Rosemont, NDG and soon in downtown Montreal. You can sign up only for your favorite workshop or for the session.
