Dear friends, family, colleagues and dance enthusiasts,

I hope you are having a wonderful summer.

Finally, we have no classes running this summer. We had a small amount of money for marketing and I decided to save it for Fall. If you have make-up classes to do, you can do them then. For those of you who were hoping to participate, please accept my apologies.

Instead, I will be focusing on the body, the house, the business and the family and getting ready for a fantastic year. It will be MamaDances 10th Anniversary and we plan to celebrate!

Teachers Training
MamaDances in your community
August 22nd-26th, 2016

A MamaDances teacher has formal professional dance training or its equivalent in dance experience, is acknowledged by peers, has teaching experience and loves babies and children. A MamaDances teacher has dance improvisation skills, and is able to be spontaneous and flexible, while maintaining control and redirecting any detour, back to a main path. She has a good sense of humour and ideally, but not absolutely, is a mother or parent.

Hula Hoop Making Workshop with Kelli

Next weekend! Saturday, July 23, 2016
10am-12pm
For parents with children aged 5-12 years old
In Sir-Wilfred- Laurier Park
$35 for the workshop, includes materials for two hula hoops (one adult and one child). $15 for each additional participant

Are you looking for a creative and fun activity to do with your family? Do you want to learn how to make your own hula hoop that won't bend and break after a couple spins? …In the workshop, you will make and decorate one adult-sized and one child-sized hula hoop and, then we will all play together with our handmade, one-of- a-kind hula hoops!

In case of rain, will be held at an indoor location in the Mile End. Will give 24 hours notice if change of location.

Registration for Fall Classes is open.

Early registration is open until August 31st. Get 8 classes for the price of 7!

Some of the classes fill up fast and space is limited, so reserve your place now!
Participation is time sensitive. Children grow quickly and babies grow even faster.

Parent and Child Video Project

We are looking for volunteers from our previous classes to participate in the archiving of our Parent and Child class material and the development of a short promo video. This will take place on Saturdays in September. If you'd like to participate please email us at:
