MamaDances and spring are in full embrace. The structural transformation from old to new is underway and will be complete by the fall.  There are plenty of opportunities to get involved: I need board members and community coordinators and this summer will be the first Teachers Certification Course.

Most Spring Sessions have begun in Montreal and Toronto. In Toronto, The Annex classes will begin this week on Fridays and a new class is developing in the Danforth/Chester area. In Montreal, a new Mom and Baby class is starting at Georges Vanier Cultural Centre in St. Henri/Atwater. Due to the high demand for our Saturday morning Parent Child Class on  Plateau Mont-Royal, an additional class has been added to the schedule. The prenatal dance exploration lab will be starting this May on Thursdays.

This month I am teaching Contact Improvisation on Sunday mornings at 10am before the jam at UQAM.  May 11-21 I will be teaching a two-week Skinner Releasing Technique Intensive at Studio 303. These are two extraordinary dance practices that continue to inspire and motivate me physically, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually every day. Please join me there.

La Ville de Montreal has made possible, a family dance program at Park Villeneuve on Tuesday afternoons throughout the summer. Other than that MamaDances will be closed. Our full program with additional partners will resume in the fall.

Cheers to you and the beautiful weather.
Enjoy
Eryn

SRT is a dance practice for all those with an interest in engaging in the dynamic dialogue between imagination and movement. Guided poetic imagery, music and hands-on partner studies facilitate deep kinaesthetic experience. The practice stimulates the process of letting go of one’s tension and holding patterns releasing new possibilities in how we perceive and how we dance. Since 2004, Eryn is a certified SRT facilitator offering classes and workshops. ( French is already on Studio 303 website)
